Sprint 2

     This sprint I completed the anchor's model. I did however experience a great deal of issues with the UVs which may be a result of topology or something. I will need to review it all to ensure that I can generate proper UVs with minimal stretching.

 
    I utilized a twist deformer on the center post and extruded and built out from there. I do think that I can get in there and adjust the top bars ends as they are a tad too bulbous when most anchors end with a sort of barb or taper. The angular nature of the bottom was initially quite concerning but it adds to the charm and gave me a sort of stylized feel similar to the game our team is recreating.
 
    I like to provide a variety of renders from Arnold that depict as much of the model as possible. For instance the normal render reveals some areas of sharp change in direction at various points of the model. In some of these areas it works. In others not so much as it needs to be more streamlined. However with a sea of props to be modeled I will move on after UV'ing and model as quickly as possible.
