 The Classic Car Assignment

 

    The classic car assignment is set to begin. This time around we're pitching cars that we would like to work on. First I selected a 1955 Lincoln Futura and more specifically the 1966 Batmobile. It's got fun, elongated geometry which I think will make for great practice.

    Next I opted for a 1974 Gran Torino and again more specifically the 1974 Tomato from Starsky and Hutch. It's not as unique as the Futura, but has some nice points and geometry that are aesthetically pleasing. 

    Lastly I'm taking a shot from left field and chose the 1957 TDF PO-1 Pointer from the Ultra Seven series. It's difficult placing what the base car is. Rumor has it that it's a '57 Dodge of sorts. This car has exceptionally fun geometry with all the fins and hard edges of the late 50's early 60's.
